The Joseph “JoJo” LaRosa Foundation is a registered 501 (c)(3) charitable organization founded in 2021. Our mission is to support young warriors battling childhood cancer and their families to help lessen the burdens of their new realities.
Joseph LaRosa, (JoJo), a tremendously loved son, brother, nephew, cousin, grandson, friend and teammate was diagnosed with Desmoplastic Small Round Cell Tumor/ Sarcoma (DSRCT) in 2018.
JoJo fought this cancer like the warrior he was for 3 1/2 years in which time he remained true to his beliefs, his faith and his loved ones. JoJo was always more concerned about the kid in the next bed than he was about himself. He was a beacon of light, hope, positivity, inspiration, courage, and strength to so many and is incredibly missed by all.
Our mission at JJLF is simply to pay his heart and spirit forward to young warriors like JoJo and their families in their time of great need. Whether it be hot non-hospital meals, comfortable hospital clothes, basic necessities like clean underwear & toiletries to toys, games, gift certificates to area restaurants and salons for mom & dad to decompress and take a break from it all. Anything we can do to help make things a little easier during these most trying of times.
We are indescribably proud to honor JoJo’s life and legacy and we are beyond blessed and grateful for your generosity in helping us bring comfort and support to pediatric cancer fighters/survivors and their families.
A nonprofit is only as strong as the community that holds it up. Together, we can do so much more than we could ever do alone.

The Joseph “Jojo” LaRosa Foundation was founded in 2021 by JoJo's mother GIna Mastrantoni, in the spirit and heart of our fierce and courageous warrior.
Our mission is simply to support children like JoJo who are in the fight of their lives and to provide comfort to them and their families during these most challenging of times.
